Family ministries exists to create a fun, safe environment that encourages children, students, and parents to experience God and be transformed in ways that are relevant to their lives.

We want kids of all ages to see how God fits into daily life stuff in a practical way. Our children's service runs concurrently with the adult service at 10:30am on Sundays. Our nursery , for children birth to 2yrs., is staffed by loving and caring individuals as is our pre-school program for children 3yrs to 5yrs. Our kindergarten through 5th graders are invited to participate in KIDMO , a Nickelodeon-like multi-sensory experience.

Your child's safety and security is our number one goal. All children who participate in our children's programs are to be signed in and out by a parent. (First-time guests will fill out an information card).Those in nursery will receive a number with a matching tag for parents. If your child needs your attention during the service the numbers on your tag will appear on the screen in the adult service.

FAQ

• Who are the volunteers?

  Our volunteers are parents, adults and teens who love God and kids. All of our volunteers go through a screening process which includes a child abuse registry check.

• What if my baby is crying or not adjusting well?

  Our volunteers are wonderful with children and will use distraction to help little ones who miss their parent. If there is a problem, or your child does not quiet down you will be paged. You will find the number display at the front of the church.

• Can my child come to class with a cough?

  Because we love all our children, we accept only well children into our classes. If your child has any of the following symptoms we ask you to not bring them to class: temperature of 100 degrees or more, rash not associated with diapering, heat, or allergies, congestion, greenish nose discharge, eye discharge, severe cough, diarrhea or vomiting within 24 hours.

• Where are the classes?

  The children's wing is to the left of the main (Spence Street) entrance.

• When do the kids go to class?

  Because we value the family worship experience, children worship with their families in the main sanctuary until they are dismissed to their classes. This usually happens after the first few songs. Watch the slides for the kids dismissal note.
