Elim Chapel is a place where people experience the dynamic presence of Christ through the Holy Spirit in worship, the teaching of God's word and in relationships within His community. (Exodus 19:17, Matthew 18:20, John 17:24, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 4:31, Philippians 3: 7-11, Ephesians 3:16-19, Revelation 3:20) We are convinced that when people encounter Christ their lives are made new and they are brought into the ongoing process of transformation. Therefore we expect His presence to transform us in our weekly worship gatherings, life groups and individual lives. (John 15:5, Romans 12:1-2, 2 Corinthians 3: 18, 2 Corinthians 4:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Philippians 3: 7-11, Colossians 2:6-7, Hebrews 13: 20-21, 1 Peter 2:9, 2 Peter 1:3-4) The heart of Christ beats for those far away from God, so we are engaged with Him in actively implementing new and creative ways to extend His reach to others. (Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 5:13-14, Matthew 6:10, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Acts 6:1-4, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, Ephesians 2:10, 1 Timothy 2:3-4)
